BASF Lifts Force Majeure on 1,4-Butanediol, Derivatives in North America

BASF has lifted the force majeure on 1,4-Butanediol (BDO) and its derivatives in North America effective immediately. The force majeure was the result of two independent events during the week of Jan. 14, 2018, which impacted production at the company’s Geismar, La. manufacturing facility.
